Character Education

6

Character education is a national movement to create schools that foster ethical, responsible, and caring young people by modeling and teaching good character through an emphasis on universal values that we all share.

Utilizing the “Six Pillars of Character” concept from the Character Counts Coalition, the school counselor and teachers seek to infuse character education into the curriculum and culture of the school through the many various methods and activities.

Students take part in character work through activities, assemblies, and in class work. Check our school calendar, Message from the Principal notifications, and newsletters for updates on specific events and initiatives!
