LAL Virtual Learning

Hello Students, Parents, and Guardians,

For the next two weeks we are going to go virtual. Virtual Learning will begin on Tuesday, March 17th. You will be given assignments and will be asked to do work based off of the assignments. We will be reviewing material that we have learned this year, as well as continuing to follow the LAL curriculum.

All of the assignments will be posted on Google Classroom. The codes for each class are posted below. Most assignments will be completed on Google Classroom, however, I have sent home some hard copy materials that will also be utilized. The list of materials that have been sent home are listed below. If you did not receive a hard copy of the materials, please find the pdf versions attached at the bottom of this page. Please make sure to check Google Classroom each day for your assignments.

Google Classroom Codes: If you lose your google classroom code, please email me. The codes can also be found in the LAL folder that was sent home.

I have also attached a schedule of classes. This schedule follows what would be a normal single-session day LAL schedule, however, it is simply a suggestion. The work is not required to be completed and submitted in this time frame. Each day your assignment will show up on Google Classroom. Work will be posted at 8:30am each morning and is expected to be turned in by 11:59pm. All late work will get partial credit as in a normal school day.

If there are questions, concerns, or more detailed conversation/discussions that you would like to have with me you may use several resources: email me @ [email protected] or google chat with me which can be done through your gmail. You may also send me a personal message on Google Classroom, Google Hangout, or request a Google Meet. *Please see image below for further clarification on Google Meet and Google Chat.

**IMPORTANT: Please do NOT comment on the STREAM on Google Classroom. Commenting on the stream makes it difficult for you and your classmates to locate assignments and important information. You CAN make private comments! When you open up an individual assignment, you have an option of posting a private comment to the teacher only. This allows you to ask a question about your specific work.

Online Office Hours:

8:30-9:30 and 12:00 – 1:00

During these hours I will be directly accessible to you through email or google classroom. While I will be available all day, these are specific times where I will be on Google Classroom/Email/assignments looking over your work and will be available to answer any questions you might have or assist you in navigating throughout our virtual learning process.
