Exhibit C: Administrative Salary and Budget

The Englewood Cliffs School District is a culturally diverse K-8 school district consisting of two schools. Our Board of Education, district administration, district staff, and the community all support the excellent educational programs that are being offered in our school district. It is through this teamwork that our district continues to excel.

We have made significant progress toward our mission during the last school year. The District continues to hire excellent staff to enhance our very competent, well-trained and enthusiastic existing staff.

The District continues to implement its web-based Curriculum Alignment Project developing curriculum aligned to the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. The successful implementation of this aligned curriculum in all subject areas is the cornerstone of the educational success of the students in our District. During the last few years, our students have scored in the top levels in all of our standardized and state assessments.

The District has also continued to support our strong technology program with the introduction of a Pre Engineering Program for grades 6, 7, and 8 for the 2007-2008 school year. We continue to upgrade our hardware, software and course offerings to provide the opportunity for high-quality instructional technology for our students. We have made significant upgrades to the technology infrastructure in the school district, including wireless capabilities in both of our schools. All of our classrooms have Internet access and both schools are networked and equipped with state-of-the-art computer labs.

Finally, the District is in the middle of a $4.4 million dollar bond referendum upgrade to our facilities. We have installed new windows, upgraded our heating and ventilation system and will have provided ADA improvements to our schools when this project is complete. In conclusion, our culturally rich diversity, our positive school atmosphere, and the enthusiasm of our Board of Education, teachers, students and parents and the support of our community combine to make this school district exemplary.
