Starting
a new year gives us the opportunity to evaluate our successes
and areas for improvement. This school year we are welcoming Mr.
Dominic Mucci as our new Superintendent. The staff is dedicated
to creating new plans, designing new strategies and implementing
new ideas. We have a special interest this school year in promoting
the performing and fine arts. The administration, staff, parents
and students must be motivated by the possible potential each
year presents. Whether one’s responsibility is administration,
supervision, teaching, parenting, preparing lunches, volunteering,
maintaining a building or managing an office, there is always
room for improvement.
We can
be proud of what we achieved in both Upper School and North Cliff
School with the support of staff and parents. Our schools are
successful because of concerned parents and a dedicated and talented
staff. The administration is planning to improve on our new program
initiatives throughout the district.
This year,
as in the past, we must concentrate on the processes that spur
continuing advancement: Evaluating what we have accomplished,
determining what we can do to improve, and identifying what we
can do to enhance programs, and identifying what we need to make
those improvements for our children. Through a strong understanding
of our roles and responsibilities we can make a difference.
Let
us make 2008-2009 a successful experience!
Mr.
Joseph Spano
