What's New in Technology 2006-07?

• Englewood Cliffs Public School District is a member of i-Safe America, a nation-wide internet safety program that is affiliated with the FBI. Please visit http://isafe.org
• Upper School and North Cliff renewed their unlimited school access to BrainPOP on the internet, http://www.brainpop.com. “BrainPOP is the leading producer of animated educational movies for K-12.”
• We ordered two Smartboards which will be located in the North Cliff Lab and Upper School Lab. There will be Smartboard training through the year. Feel free to sign up for lab time and integrate the Smartboard in your lessons.
• The Smartboard in Mr. Kievit's room is available for all teachers. Please speak to Mr. Kievit.
• Englewood Cliffs teachers have a one-year subscription with EdHelper.com. If you did not receive an email from EdHelper, please speak to Teresa Perrotta as soon as possible.
• Don't forget to sign-up with United Streaming. Email Teresa for usernames and district codes.
• Ms. Perrotta will organize an i-SAFE committee with parents and friends in the district. If interested, please email tperrotta@englewoodcliffs.org
• After-School Technology Workshops will begin in October. Teachers are not required to attend, however this training will provide teachers with the tools and confidence needed to positively affect student learning and outcomes.
